Dearest of health and strength,
Making best wishes amid of disease,
No keeping, close distance,
Understanding the power of Corona,
Disturbing our life and arena.

Oh dear sanitize always your hands,
Keep a good distance meet someone,
Being in the home only,
Avoid Corona out spread.

If you have cold and culf,
Along with fever, danger
Go to the nearest doctor,
Bring peace of mind and joy.

Don't be so social but sensitive to other,
Be careful with your friends and neighbors,
Make good decisions and be wise,
Use the phone and do video call,

Pray to God, to save us all,

Life is very Precious and dear to me,
That is why stay home.

Thanks to God for uniting the world again,
To understand each other and love😍 again,
Hopefully again lots of goodness and care,

Internship programs

Wednesday I tryed to do something different in the class today. I wrote the six line paragraph on the board in order to solve the book crisis. though, it took a little extratime. I could have a group as well as individual loud reading. This was an effective way of dealing together with all the students. It was easy for me to give word-meaning and explaine the sentence structure. I noticed that it was very much helpful to maintain the class. The students also showed their interest in learning English. The paragraph was taken from the lesson " the eyes are not here " by Ruskin Bond. This story also helped them to understand the concept of illusion. It also created awareness about ecosystem and strongly pleaded for animal protection especially in forest. The class also indulged in the grammatical structure. I revised the singular and plural nouns as well as use of pronoun with them. This same topic will be continued tomorrow to clear the different forms of plural. The students responded well and paid attaintion in the class. The class went on smoothly today. I enjoyed the class a lot.

Internship

Saturday It was the last day of this week. I was happy to take class on second bell. There was noise in the class unnecessarily because some of them were simply chatting with each other during the class. I continued with the prose reading and word-meaning. After having read twice or thrice a paragraph the story" the eyes are not here" I asked the questions based on it. I could get the satisfactory answers from them. Then I began with the noun, pronoun, singular and plural to draw the attention of the class. The grammatical part had grabbed their attention. Yet some of them kept disturbing the class. Many students were showing their interest. They listened and wrote down the basic principles of singular and plural. Then I proceeded with the pronoun and its use in the sentences. Today I had not enjoy the class much due to unexpected noisy class. I tryied to maintain the class. I also learnt from this experience that everyday I can not expect desired situations. Therefore I need to be ready with some alternatives. By nirdosh ✍

My first day at the school

I was very excited to visit my school on the first day. I arrived at the school at around 10:15 am. I am going to have my "internship program" a period of teaching- learning experience here, in the "Indra Prasad Singh Uchtar Madhyamik Balika Vidyalaya, Digha, Patna.

I am teaching English as a subject there. Today, I just spent my time in the school by collecting the syllabus for class 9th ( C & D). Dr Amrendar Kumar, up-sanchalak guided us in regards with classe time table and other necessary instructions about the school. Teacher Sangita with the help of other students provided me the Bihar Board syllabus for class 9th.

There was no teaching in the school today. The main objective was to prepare a lesson plan for the next day class and get it approved by the method teacher. Therefore, I came back to the college. I then prepared a lesson plan on rough which my method teacher corrected and approved it. Unfortunately, my method teacher couldn't sign in the lesson plan maintenance register due to lack of time. that is why I got to go back to my mathed teacher next day morning at 9:30 a.m.

I thank the St. Xavier's College of Education, for giving me this opportunity for my personal development and social development as well as learning and enhancing my skills. I am also happy with all my other companions ( Hena, Poonam, Sangeeta, Sindhu, Gyanbharti, Shalini & Neelkusum) and the school with whom together going to venture this journey of teaching- learning under the constant support and guidance of our supervisor Dr. Nimisha Srivastav. I expect from myself to give my very best and gain maximum experiences & knowledge.

Internship

Wednesday

"A co-operative class environment"

I was very happy about my class today. There was desired silence in the class.they cooperated throughout the class. They had paid attention and responded well as the situation demanded. It was my second day as teacher in the school. I felt more at home and confident while teaching. I noticed some improvement in my interaction with the class like involvement of all students. they respected me and I too. I had good time with them. I also found miss Aprajita so cooperative, regularly observing my class and providing me with her suggestion everyday. Everything went on smoothly and orderly today.

I noticed in my class that there was not a satisfactory reading practices. There are very few books with the students. some of the students show great curiosity to learn English language.

Thus, with this happy feelings I ended up mu class today.

TUESDAY ( 2nd day)

It was completely a new experience for me as I entered in the school as a teacher. I reached the School at 9:25 a.m. I also attended the school assembly at 9:40 am. which includes Gayatri Mantra, prayer song ( Tu hi Ram hai...... ) National Anthem, news reading, thought for a day and a short reading on Gandhiji's life. They also recite the Preamble everyday. The teachers and a group of students conducted that morning assembly. And then the classes begin at from 10:00 to 3:45pm. The principal of the school is Dr. .................. and Dr. Amrendar Kumar is Up-Sanchalak. The whole teaching and non-teaching staff was present today.

"My first experience as a teacher"

It is my first day as a teacher in the school. It was very exciting as well as challenging because I was going to execute my first lesson plan which designed for teaching in the real classroom situation. I am teaching in the 9th ( C& D, estimated no. 120 + ) observed by miss Aprajita.

Today I dealt with the topic "the eyes are not here" written by Ruskin Bond. the class was interactive as well as cooperative. I found in the very class some of the students paid no attention to teaching which signaled me to improve my class maintenance. I struggled with the class due to lack of books. There were hardly few books in the class available.

I had selected for paragraphs which was actually too much from the students point's of view. I couldn't follow the order of lesson plan and execute it properly. one time I also felt helpless because it was hard for them to repeat after me the paragraph. I hardly able to teach one paragraph today.

Another drawback of my teaching was not given proper or enough time for a practice. I also forgot to write the title after the introduction. I realise that I also need to be aware regarding the board work. I got to work really hard to increase their knowledge of English and help them to acquire some understanding as well as interest towards English language since it is not a compulsory subject for them.

Having experiencing first day class I realised that I need to learn and be aware of everything. I am happy that I got a chance to teach. I wish, I will improve and learn more about teaching-learning as many more classes to come.

Report on fresher's day on 28 july

Introduction:

The fresher's day, first cultural program was conducted by St. Xavier's College of Education, Patna on 28 July 2017. the purpose was to provide new comers a platform to show up their talents, skills and know each other well. the event also aimed at individual's overall development especially confidence and working together as a team. the event was blessed by the presence of father seraphim John's and with his lovely words of encouragement.

Descriptions:
the program began with a prayer service integrated Lightning of the lamp, reading from holy books, petitions, prayer dance, and welcome song by our seniors. father seraphim John was the chief guest of the fresher's Day program. he said in his opening message that this way of events helps student to overcome their stage fear and then learn to work together as a group. in this way students do not entertain their subjective motives but work together for objective motives. thus they feel encouraged and feel more confident. he also mentioned the event will help us to uncover our talents and provides us a platform to develop our self. he also said to Grab all these opportunities coming ahead on our way.

while addressing newcomers father Thomas praised each student for the the amount of efforts made by us. he encouraged to carry on this spirit throughout the years. teachers got to play an important role in order to build up the nation and its progress therefore we must take up our responsibility confidently, he added. he also said this program was specially organised for first year to feel welcomed in the college and we may know each other well, know each others talents, learn to co ordinate with each other. he asked us to always work for the development of children and try to get good out of them.

this event includes prayer dance, welcome song, religious song, Nagpuri dance, nature related dance, classical dance, and Hollywood song. On this especial day our other teachers also present. The whole program was guided by Dr. Madhu Singh, sir vikramjit, and sapna suman. Zufa shayan, Aditya shahi from 2nd year B.Ed., and simran agrawal (expressed vote of thanks) and prem amrit from 1st year coordinated  so well. The anchor of the program were 2nd year students sister Amulya and Sandeep Kumar. The program was summed up by singing college anthem.

after which we were allotted responsibilities to get the hall cleared for the next program. soon after work we all had dance and photography session. we then adiue good bye and Departed home.

Reflection:
I felt that fresher's day was the wonderful time to know each other and self well, and to work together. there was a mixed experience because the group I had been practicing, hardly know each other but we did beautiful program. it's taught me to be patient with any level of groups. the program was successful, good, and interesting. the best thing to learn was opinions of different people and accept all the suggestions put forward according to me. it costs a lot to make each one understand and give respect equally. it was quite helpful and made me feel that I go to adjust with everyone and everytime. secondly, it also helped me to be more confident and discipline in my way of going and commenting. one thing touch me about the program was that 100 persent participation and hardworking of each teams. there was a lot to learn from this event father Thomas rightly said that we are to play important role in the life of a student in order to build up our nation. similarity a must take up my current responsibility well and to do it honestly. the dance session was the great fun time which made me forget about myself and get totally involved in it. the photo session also made me feel comfortable and enjoyed each others company.

Conclusion:
the freshers day went on smoothly and ended up with a great fun and learning. it met its on going purpose and created more friendly and easy going feeling atmosphere around US. the event was in fact very good and balanced. I appreciate for the moment we were left without supervisor just to enjoy that particular time. this experience do made impact on each one of us. by using that learning and experience we can make our forthcoming events and study really thoughtful, fruitful and successful. the day was awesome. the fresher's day came out to be interactive, active and dynamic. thus the event brought Smiles on our faces and unforgettable memories.

A Seminar on 5th August on the occasion of centenary of Champaran movement

 Introduction

on the occasion of centenary of Champaran Satyagraha, in Saint Xavier's College of Education Patna observed a day on the relevance of Gandhi addressing education.  the purpose of this event was to see how GandhI's ideas and visions are still relevant at present education.99 the event was held on 5th August 2017 in the college auditorium. there were many invited guests from other colleges to attend this seminar.

Description:

the programme began at around 9:30 a.m. the chief guest was professor Ajay Kumar Singh Registrar of a k u escorted by principal father Thomas. there were students, teachers, and coordinators also present in this program. the program was kicked off with a prayer service. there was lightening of the lamp in front of GandhijI's photo, readings from holy books and a prayer dance. there then was Vaishnav Jan Palan Hare song end of the prayer service.

father Thomas our principal welcome the gathering and set the tone of the program. in his speech he said Gandhiji is a model and way of hope at the present time. he was not an Era or age but he is humanity forever. every human being must experience that change within his or her want it to see in the world first.

the next spoke person was professor Ajay Kumar Singh made a great impact on students by yelling east or west St. Xavier is the best. in his talk he said Gandhi is a medicine today for a fast moving Lifestyle. by his life Gandhi set the example that if we have the willpower, success is not very far away. this willpower made him Mahatma from simple Mohandas. professor Ajay Prakash Singh also stress on GandhI's vision for education.

after the main speaker of the event there was MS Nimisha presented GandhI's life and work giving connection to education. Simran Agarwal, first year B.Ed student Express their views on Gandhi. she spoke about the Journeys (Africa experience letter to India) of Mahatma Gandhi and his contribution  in the society and education. in her Hindi speech Gitanjali Kumari m ed student mentioned Gandhiji as a casual teacher by his thoughts and way of his simple life.

there was also a Inter College drawing competition in honour of Gandhi. there were students from different colleges too. in the drawing competition Pooja (Student Of Women College Patna) stood first, Indrani (St Xavier College of Education) 2nd and Ujjwal Kumar manage to secure third place.

to mark this day in a very special way st.Xavier's students performed awesome skits based on Gandhi by the four college houses. Each house tried to put GandhijI's ideology of education and social values through the skits. The students worked hard and prepared skits in a few days . house tagore by fulfilling all the conditions came first, jakir house second, and aurobindo-gandhi shared third place.

There was also prize and certificate distribution end of the programme . each participant was awarded with a participating certificate . our senior teacher Mrs. Madhu Singh was the master of ceremony and the anchor was first year B.Ed student affreen naz. The program was coordinated by sirs sushil Kumar and Vikramjeet.  Our other teachers also present in this seminar.

Reflection:

The programme has been very useful to me. I learnt more about Gandhi, his Champaran journing was something new to me. I had never heard that Gandhi stayed here a long time under the pressure of British government and drowning in people's sorrows in Bihar. Professor Ajay Prakash Singh also mentioned in his speech that "Gandhi is a medicine for the first moving life". His views attracted me because I see and here around me honesty and right based approach is every time at risk . Most of the people try to get the maximum which is against GandhI's dream of new India. Gandhi ji rightly said " there is enough resources for everyone but not for selfishness". Gandhiji makes me feel to have a solidarity with poor and needy around me. I admire GandhI's simplicity, patience, passions, for people and country. Today a question arises that Gandhiji cared for us  but who is caring for his dream country India? I was also struck by his way of going, reaching out to the people in need. He also attracted me by his tremendous love and ability to see the future. The most important thing is his suffering while choosing the path of Satyagraha for the freedom of our country.

Conclusion:

I think that the seminar fulfilled it's purpose of celebrating this great and valuable event as well as bringing GandhI's views alive at this present education scenario. It is still relevant and useful today. By applying his teachings and walking on his foot steps, we could simply build a nation we want to see. He is rightly accepted as Father of our nation. His vision and views can not be cornered because they are pillars of our society and education. The program was very good. Each participant of that event honours Gandhiji for his contribution for the development of the country. I found this helpful and enjoyed learning about Father of our nation.
