Reflection:
The programme has been very useful to me. I learnt more about Gandhi, his Champaran journing was something new to me. I had never heard that Gandhi stayed here a long time under the pressure of British government and drowning in people's sorrows in Bihar. Professor Ajay Prakash Singh also mentioned in his speech that "Gandhi is a medicine for the first moving life". His views attracted me because I see and here around me honesty and right based approach is every time at risk . Most of the people try to get the maximum which is against GandhI's dream of new India. Gandhi ji rightly said " there is enough resources for everyone but not for selfishness". Gandhiji makes me feel to have a solidarity with poor and needy around me. I admire GandhI's simplicity, patience, passions, for people and country. Today a question arises that Gandhiji cared for us but who is caring for his dream country India? I was also struck by his way of going, reaching out to the people in need. He also attracted me by his tremendous love and ability to see the future. The most important thing is his suffering while choosing the path of Satyagraha for the freedom of our country.
Conclusion:
I think that the seminar fulfilled it's purpose of celebrating this great and valuable event as well as bringing GandhI's views alive at this present education scenario. It is still relevant and useful today. By applying his teachings and walking on his foot steps, we could simply build a nation we want to see. He is rightly accepted as Father of our nation. His vision and views can not be cornered because they are pillars of our society and education. The program was very good. Each participant of that event honours Gandhiji for his contribution for the development of the country. I found this helpful and enjoyed learning about Father of our nation.
